Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Adel Younes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Leigh's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Younes came free, but Abdelkarim Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Whitwell FC's Said Ben Hadji got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelkarim Trabelsi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Whitwell FC's Adel Younes. But to his dismay, Adel Younes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Hamed Jelassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Whitwell FC booed when Leigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adel Nafti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Said Ben Hadji cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Abdelkarim Trabelsi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Issam Mechemeche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Leigh getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adel Massaoud hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes, Whitwell FC's Hedi Karoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdelkarim Trabelsi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Whitwell FC reached it. 29 minutes into the match, Leigh's goal looked a bit too open when Adel Younes came free, but Abdelkarim Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelkarim Trabelsi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Whitwell FC's Said Ben Hadji. But to his dismay, Said Ben Hadji quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamed Jelassi in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Bejaoui saved Whitwell FC from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamed Jelassi made a kick off. If Said Ben Hadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Whitwell FC's Mohamed Cherif got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Adel Younes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Whitwell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adel Younes couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Whitwell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Majed Ben Kalaï came free, but Pierre Bejaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Adel Younes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdelkarim Trabelsi, 0-4. In the 70th match minute, Whitwell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Majdi Ghannem to maneuver through the defense. Khaled Moatamri hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Wissem Ben El Naili was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abdelkarim Trabelsi made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Adel Younes sent off a good shot on target. Whitwell FC's Said Ben Hadji got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leigh's Abdelkarim Trabelsi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Leigh from getting a goal against them. After 93 played minutes Whitwell FC got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Karoui. Whitwell FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
