When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radhi Trabelsi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Leigh's goal looked a bit too open when Radhi Trabelsi came free, but Abdelkarim Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Oussama M'henni fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perton City's protests and gave Oussama M'henni a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leigh booed when Perton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oussama M'henni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Hamed Jelassi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jamel Yahyaoui. The goal made the score 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leigh had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
