Sofiane Bouali made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mongi El Ouaer sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yassine Yahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Fleetwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashid Chedli to maneuver through the defense. Mongi Chiba made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ahmed Sallemi sent off a good shot on target. Mongi El Ouaer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofiane Bouali having to make a save. Alderney's Sofiane Bouali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mongi El Ouaer in the 62nd minute of play. Mongi Chiba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehdi Herguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fleetwood AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Ahmed Sallemi scored to the left of an out of position Mongi Chiba , making the score, 1-2. If Mehdi Herguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Sallemi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Mongi Chiba made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yassine Yahia in the 89th minute of play forced Alderney's goalkeeper Sofiane Bouali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
