Frodsham's Sadok Braham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Mouelhi in the 11th minute of play. In the 21st minute Nizar Lamouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fathi Azzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selim Zouaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sadok Braham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khaled Mouelhi in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sadok Braham saved Frodsham from getting behind. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Hitchin's goalkeeper Fathi Azzaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sadok Saidi. Sadok Braham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Mouelhi in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nizar Lamouchi made the kick off in the second half. If Sadok Saidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fathi Azzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nizar Lamouchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Selim Zouaouis short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Sadok Braham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Selim Zouaoui came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Hitchin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selim Zouaoui couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Kaies Sellimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadok Saidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Selim Zouaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadok Braham having to interfere. Frodsham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
