Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amira Mor started the match with the kick off. Alresford's Ayèche Sanchou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassib Dali in the 3rd minute of play. If Amira Mor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Alresford got a freekick which was hit by Driss Fitouri. Hassib Dali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amira Mor kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mongi Baya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ghazi Khcharem in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mokhtar Mnari during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Brighton got a freekick which was hit by Mokhtar Mnari. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ghazi Khcharem took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mongi Baya to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th match minute, Alresford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarak Sellimi to maneuver through the defense. Ayèche Sanchou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amira Mor , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Ghazi Khcharem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mongi Baya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ghazi Khcharem might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mongi Baya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ghazi Khcharem ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the game, Amira Mor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ayèche Sanchou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brighton's Mongi Baya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Brighton from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ghazi Khcharem to strike the kick off in the second half. Brighton were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Alresford's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Habib Makhlouf took the corner. Brighton's Habib Makhlouf was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ayèche Sanchou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hassib Dali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brighton's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassib Dali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayèche Sanchou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hassene Haithem in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mongi Baya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ghazi Khcharem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brighton's Mongi Baya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassene Haithem in the 68th minute of play. Hassene Haithem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mokhtar Mnari hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Brighton's Mongi Baya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassene Haithem in the 73rd minute of play. Mongi Baya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hassene Haithem, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ghazi Khcharem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mongi Baya having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighton's goalkeeper Mongi Baya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hassene Haithem in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mongi Baya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Brighton's Amira Mor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ayèche Sanchou. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, Ghazi Khcharem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alresford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
