Fathi Khalfaoui was a little too slow when Muhammad Brahem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. With his leg Fathi Khalfaoui managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Worsley AFC's Muhammad Brahem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Worsley AFC's Mourad Hadji in the 27th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fathi Khalfaoui was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sheringham AFC through an amazing save. Mourad Hadji might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fathi Khalfaoui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mourad Hadji ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Worsley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Salem came free, but Aymen Dhahri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Achraf Yahia came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sheringham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achraf Yahia couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Achraf Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aymen Dhahri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achraf Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen Dhahri having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Salem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
