Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mohamed Ali Chedli took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Meldreth's goalkeeper Jose Brahem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haythem Essafi. Mongi Bejaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatah Limam having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Mohamed Ali Chedli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fatah Limam. Peterlee United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Ali Chedli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fatah Limam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Ali Chedli's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Ali Chedli in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fatah Limam saved Peterlee United from getting behind. Meldreth's Jose Brahem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Meldreth from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peterlee United's goalkeeper Fatah Limam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Saidi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Meldreth's Jose Brahem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Ben Salah in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mongi Bejaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meldreth's supporters rose to their feet, but Mongi Bejaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fatah Limam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohamed Ali Chedli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mongi Bejaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Meldreth got a freekick which was hit by Chokri Jebali. The Peterlee United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meldreth were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Ben Salah made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haythem Essafi in the 51st minute of play forced Meldreth's goalkeeper Jose Brahem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peterlee United booed when Meldreth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Aziza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Saidi's late challenge caught a Meldreth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Saidi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Meldreth booed when Peterlee United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Saidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Mohamed Ali Chedli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Haythem Essafi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Peterlee United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haythem Essafi couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Abdelbaki Mzali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peterlee United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meldreth the free kick. In the 62nd minute, one of Peterlee United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peterlee United. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Meldreth. Mohamed Sellami stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fatah Limam. 0-2. 67 minutes into the game, Haythem Essafi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peterlee United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meldreth the free kick. A collision led to Peterlee United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Haythem Essafi hit a great ball. The supporters of Meldreth booed when Peterlee United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelkarim Djait didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Sellami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Meldreth's zone, Haythem Essafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Brahem came out of the goal and Haythem Essafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ali Ben Salah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peterlee United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Ben Salah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Brahem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Ben Salah kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jose Brahem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haythem Essafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Mongi Bejaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Meldreth's Mohamed Aziza got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jose Brahem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haythem Essafi in the 94th minute of the match. Ali Ben Salah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ali Ben Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Meldreth had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
