Zine Karoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatah Limam having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Haythem Essafi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peterlee United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haythem Essafi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Bowburn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Melliti to maneuver through the defense. Hédi Lahmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hédi Lahmar in the 32nd minute of play forced Peterlee United's goalkeeper Fatah Limam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Peterlee United's Fatah Limam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zine Karoui in the 52nd minute of play. When Wissem Ishola fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peterlee United's protests and gave Wissem Ishola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Wissem Ishola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zine Karoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Peterlee United's goalkeeper Fatah Limam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hédi Lahmar. Bowburn's Zine Karoui got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hédi Lahmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Peterlee United's goalkeeper Fatah Limam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hédi Lahmar. In the 69th match minute, Peterlee United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Saidi to maneuver through the defense. Fatah Limam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zine Karoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Wissem Ishola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fatah Limam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hédi Lahmar went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, Peterlee United's goal looked a bit too open when Zine Karoui came free, but Fatah Limam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zine Karoui came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bowburn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zine Karoui couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes of play Peterlee United's Wissem Ishola was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th minute, Wissem Ishola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bowburn's Hédi Lahmar got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, one of Peterlee United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bowburn had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
