With an extended leg and a bit of luck Muhammad Saïdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 36 minutes, Bechir Ben Ammar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keyworth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bechir Ben Ammar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shuaibu Sassi in the 43rd minute of play forced Keyworth FC's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Ben Zid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bechir Ben Ammar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
