The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maidenhead FC's Adel Ben Doulet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Ali Namouchi in the 13th minute of play. Abdelwahab Escheikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mohamed Ali Namouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Ben Doulet having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Mohamed Ali Namouchi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adel Ben Doulet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 0-2 became the score in the 25th minute when Mohamed Ali Namouchi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Maidenhead FC's Anis Braiek tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Uffington's Abdelwahab Escheikh, in the 46th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Uffington.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Dermech stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Uffington's zone, Jose Dermech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Ali Makni came out of the goal and Jose Dermech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jose Dermech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Ali Makni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Dermech, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Mohamed Ali Namouchi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Adel Ben Doulet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uffington. After a rather tough play, Uffington's Mohamed Ali Namouchi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jose Dermech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mohamed Ali Makni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Med Chikhaoui took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Adel Ben Doulet to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamad Baya during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Maidenhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohamad Baya. When Chaker Nafti came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Maidenhead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chaker Nafti couldn't finish the play. Mohamed Ali Makni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaker Nafti, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jose Dermech scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Ali Makni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Uffington supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uffington would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
