Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Stroud United's Zine Ben Saada started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Stroud United got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Amira Thabet. Lassaad Bassir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Ali Namouchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelwahab Escheikh got free with Lassaad Bassir in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Stroud United's Hassine Nefzi got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of Uffington booed when Stroud United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Bargougui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Mohamed Ali Namouchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lassaad Bassir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes, Uffington's Med Chikhaoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lassaad Bassir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uffington reached it. 25 minutes into the game, Uffington's Abdelwahab Escheikh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lassaad Bassir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Slim in the 31st minute of play forced Uffington's goalkeeper Mohamed Ali Makni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Bargougui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sami Slim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroud United's supporters rose to their feet, but Sami Slim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Ali Makni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Uffington got a freekick which was hit by David Ali Riza. Stroud United were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Uffington's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Slaheddine al-Husain took the corner. The corner led to Stroud United's Hassine Nefzi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Sami Slim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Ali Namouchi might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lassaad Bassir . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohamed Ali Namouchi ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Ali Namouchi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Zine Ben Saada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroud United's supporters rose to their feet, but Zine Ben Saada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Ali Makni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zine Ben Saada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mohamed Ali Makni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lassaad Bassir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelwahab Escheikh's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Hedi Amira Thabet hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Stroud United's Hedi Amira Thabet got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zine Ben Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mohamed Ali Namouchi sped through Stroud United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lassaad Bassir . When Sahbi Ben Ben Ammar fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uffington's protests and gave Sahbi Ben Ben Ammar a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uffington! The referee gave Stroud United a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Slaheddine al-Husain, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uffington's Mohamed Ali Makni. 2-1. Mohamed Ali Namouchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lassaad Bassir having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stroud United's Hatem Mnari got a free kick in the 89th minute. Lassaad Bassir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelwahab Escheikh's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A collision led to Stroud United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Hassine Nefzi hit a great ball. Mohamed Ali Namouchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Lassaad Bassir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Uffington support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
