Aymen Kaâbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Muhammad Ragued tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Mehdi Yahyaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashington City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehdi Yahyaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Muhammad Ragued made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahed al-Amin in the 20th minute of play. Muhammad Ragued stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aymen Kaâbi's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Fahed al-Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Flushing United booed when Ashington City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Said Mechergui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flushing United's Aymen Kaâbi managed to work through Ashington City's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aymen Kaâbi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Muhammad Ragued showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymen Kaâbi in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Yahyaoui in the 34th minute of play forced Flushing United's goalkeeper Chems al-Husain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelwahab Limam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Chems al-Husain made a huge save. If Abdelwahab Limam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chems al-Husain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Yahyaoui in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Flushing United got a freekick which was hit by Amir Khcharem. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aymen Kaâbi made the kick off in the second half. Ghazi Decastel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mehdi Yahyaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flushing United's Chems al-Husain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Yahyaoui in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Fahed al-Amin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flushing United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fahed al-Amin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Ragued breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Habib Dhouib's late challenge caught a Ashington City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habib Dhouib helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flushing United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Habib Dhouib hit a great ball. Ashington City's Abdelwahab Limam got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Habib Dhouib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelwahab Limam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Chems al-Husain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Flushing United's Hatem Merdassi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Emir Haj Herguel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chems al-Husain. Flushing United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Said Mechergui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashington City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flushing United the free kick. The supporters of Flushing United booed when Ashington City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Said Mechergui didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mehdi Yahyaoui came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ashington City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Yahyaoui couldn't finish the play. Amir Khcharem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Ragued having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
