Yassine Bouzaiene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahi Ben Mbarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Aldbrough's Amira Zahaf got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hassan Amri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yassine Bouzaiene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amira Zahaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hosni Bourguiba having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Aldbrough's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Amri came free, but Yassine Bouzaiene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yassine Bouzaiene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahi Ben Mbarek in the 41st minute of the match. Hassan Amri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hassan Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amira Zahaf was the one to do the kick off. If Amira Zahaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Riadh Ghodhbane fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingswear's protests and gave Riadh Ghodhbane a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kingswear's Riadh Ghodhbane got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 71 played minutes, Aldbrough's Ali Sanchou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hosni Bourguiba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aldbrough reached it. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Yassine Bouzaiene got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Aldbrough hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Aldbrough's Amira Zahaf got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jamel M'Hedhbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldbrough's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamel M'Hedhbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hosni Bourguiba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bahi Ben Mbarek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yassine Bouzaiene came out and tried to block the shot, but Bahi Ben Mbarek slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 93rd minute. The Kingswear supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kingswear would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
