The audience was convinced that Ali Jawachi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yassine Bouzaiene was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hichem Ghodhbane the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aldbrough protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hichem Ghodhbane had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Yassine Bouzaiene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lassaad Morjane in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Great Staughton United's Chedi Sellimi got control of the ball when Jamel M'Hedhbi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
