In the 43rd minute, Moustafa Kefacha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehdi Djait made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hedi Sanchou in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahmoud Ayari made a kick off. Abdallah Ben Zid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mahmoud Ayari might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Yahia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
