In the 17th minute of the match Bechir Ouhir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehdi Djait skillfully saved the ball. Rawdon were furious when Issam Chikhaoui was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Rawdon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of West Bridgford United:s goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Hédi Sfar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Bridgford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hédi Sfar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Rawdon's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiene Merdassi came free, but Mehdi Djait reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bechir Ouhir hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. West Bridgford United's Hédi Ben Zid pulled a muscle in his back after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 48th match minute, Rawdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahmoud Ayari to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hédi Sfar made a kick off. If Hédi Sfar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mahmoud Ayari kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Rawdon's goalkeeper Mehdi Djait had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hédi Sfar. Moustafa Kefacha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Braham having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Moustafa Kefacha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Bridgford United's Habib Braham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th match minute, Rawdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zied Nafti to maneuver through the defense. Hédi Sfar took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehdi Djait. Mehdi Djait dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Moustafa Kefacha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Anouar Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Braham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moustafa Kefacha in the 89th minute of play forced West Bridgford United's goalkeeper Habib Braham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moustafa Kefacha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Braham having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Rawdon's Hichem Chiba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Habib Braham narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
