Mehdi Djait showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamel Morjane in the 16th minute of the match. If Mahmoud Ayari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Wissem Ben Mbarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Moustafa Kefacha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamel Morjane in the 47th minute of play forced Rawdon's goalkeeper Mehdi Djait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Rawdon were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamel Morjane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Majdi Jbara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahmoud Ayari in the 51st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rawdon's Mahmoud Ayari slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Majdi Jbara. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. Mehdi Djait showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moncef Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Moncef Yahia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mehdi Djait was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Moncef Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Djait having to interfere. Jamel Morjane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mehdi Djait tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rawdon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
