Spectators: 6750 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emir Bouazizi got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Lofti Soliman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lofti Soliman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emir Bouazizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bassem Sellimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoubeir Belhouane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bassem Sellimi. Ashington AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lofti Soliman in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bassem Sellimi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bassem Sellimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lofti Soliman in the 21st minute of play. Bechir Trabelsi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Yate's goalkeeper Aymen Ayari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moncef Ben Doulet. Yate's Aymen Ayari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Yate from getting a goal against them. Lofti Soliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emir Bouazizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bassem Sellimi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Emir Bouazizi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bassem Sellimi. Lofti Soliman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bassem Sellimi having to interfere. After the first half Yate were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maher Mestiri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moncef Ben Doulet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Yate getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Riadh Jelassi hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Yate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabri Ben Nacef to maneuver through the defense. Aymen Ayari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moncef Ben Doulet went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ashington AFC's Bassem Sellimi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ashington AFC from getting a goal against them. Zoubeir Belhouane made a great header on Yate's corner, it was just that Ashington AFC's Bassem Sellimi managed to reach the ball for a save. Emir Bouazizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bassem Sellimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emir Bouazizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bassem Sellimi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emir Bouazizi ran back to his position shaking his head. Yate's Aymen Ayari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moncef Ben Doulet in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Yate's Emir Bouazizi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bassem Sellimi. That made the score 1-2 after 92 minutes of play. The supporters of Ashington AFC booed when Yate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabri Ben Nacef didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lofti Soliman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Yate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ashington AFC throughout the match.
