After 13 minutes of play, Langley's Abdallah Hakimi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moncef Mechemeche was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Langley's goalkeeper Sabri Zitouni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bechir Ouakili . Moncef Mechemeche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salah Belhaj Kasraoui in the 20th minute of play. Abdallah Hakimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Moncef Mechemeche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabri Zitouni made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bechir Ouakili sent off a good shot on target. Moncef Mechemeche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdallah Hakimi , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Salah Belhaj Kasraoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moncef Mechemeche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moncef Mechemeche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Belhaj Kasraoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Salah Belhaj Kasraoui succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After the first half Langley were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee showed Haykel Jaïdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdallah Hakimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Langley players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
