The wind increased when Mourad Mnari made the kick off in the second half. Mourad Mnari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahmoud Bouazizi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ismail Baly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamdi Brahem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mahmoud Bouazizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. West Bridgford's Mourad Mnari got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hamdi Brahem fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Bridgford's protests and gave Hamdi Brahem a yellow card for diving instead. Hamdi Brahem hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Mourad Mnari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahmoud Bouazizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Wanlip United defense, Hamdi Brahem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mahmoud Bouazizi. The Wanlip United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mahmoud Bouazizi should have stopped the shot. Mahmoud Bouazizi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamdi Brahem in the 94th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Hamdi Brahem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Bridgford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdi Brahem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched West Bridgford eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
