West Bridgford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Hamza Sfar scored to the left of an out of position Adel Ouertani, making the score, 1-0. Aymen Mechergui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Mnari, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The West Bridgford fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when West Bridgford's Mourad Mnari looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th match minute, West Bridgford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mokhtar Namouchi to maneuver through the defense. Adel Ouertani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Najeh Sboui in the 38th minute. Adel Ouertani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Sfar in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hamza Sfar made the kick off in the second half. Najeh Sboui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Adel Ouertani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamdi Brahem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymen Mechergui having to interfere. Hamdi Brahems short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Aymen Mechergui to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mourad Mnari in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aymen Mechergui saved Mount Hawke from getting behind. Mourad Mnari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aymen Mechergui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamdi Brahem in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Mokhtar Namouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Najeh Sboui in the 87th minute of play forced West Bridgford's goalkeeper Adel Ouertani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, West Bridgford's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Sfar came free, but Adel Ouertani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mount Hawke's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
