Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Poynton's Adel Kadri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Adel Kadri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khaled Falhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Ali Mzoughi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Hadrioui in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Greenwich got a corner. Poynton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Habib David ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Greenwich's corner Habib David fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mohamed Ali Mzoughi quite easily take care of the ball. Abderrahim Ben Arfa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Ali Mzoughi having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Greenwich's Abderrahim Ben Arfa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Ali Mzoughi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Poynton were furious when Mohamed Chaldun was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 26 minutes into the game, one of Poynton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Karim Dali's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Khaled Falhi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Poynton's Mohamed Ali Mzoughi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahim Ben Arfa in the 36th minute of play. Abderrahim Ben Arfa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Mohamed Ali Mzoughi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenwich. Muhammad Hadrioui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Ali Mzoughi having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhammad Hadrioui made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Muhammad Hadrioui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abderrahim Ben Arfa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Ali Mzoughi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Karim Dali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Poynton's zone, Muhammad Hadrioui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 73 played minutes Poynton got a freekick which was hit by Kaies Clayton. Muhammad Hadrioui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mohamed Ali Mzoughi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Poynton's goalkeeper Mohamed Ali Mzoughi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abderrahim Ben Arfa. The Greenwich players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
