In the 33rd minute Radhi Rehouma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moustafa Fergani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Issam Laabidi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Moustafa Fergani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finsbury Park. Moustafa Fergani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radhi Rehouma in the 36th minute of the match. Finsbury Park's Issam Laabidi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Girton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sadok Salem came free, but Moustafa Fergani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mohamed Ouhir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Issam Laabidi ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohamed Ouhir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Riadh Chikhaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Issam Laabidi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Ouhir got free with Riadh Chikhaoui in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Mohamed Ouhir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girton AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Habib El Ouaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
