Rainham's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohsen Bouali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehdi Chipo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Truro's Mehdi Chipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamed Mouelhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fraj Saïdi kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rainham's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
