Chokri Khemili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ali Ayari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chokri Khemili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Ayari having to make a save. A collision led to Southwold getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Youssef Sassi hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Worksop FC's Chokri Khemili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Ayari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ayèche Gharbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Sami Jemmali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southwold's Ali Ayari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sami Jemmali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ali Ayari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Ayari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chokri Khemili in the 38th minute of the match. If Fatah Ammar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Majed Ben Jemmali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rashid Salah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Majed Ben Jemmali made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Sami Jemmali took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ali Ayari to make any attempt to save it.
