Hamed Selliti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehdi Farhat having to make a save. If Sami Jemmali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After recieving a nice pass, Worksop FC's Majed Ben Ouertani tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mehdi Farhat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Jemmali, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sami Jemmali struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mehdi Farhat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Worksop FC. After 88 played minutes Worksop FC got a freekick which was hit by Majed Ben Ouertani. Mehdi Farhat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chokri Khemili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rashid Salah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel Sellimi in the 97th minute of the match.
