An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Haggui in the 9th minute of play forced Chalfont FC's goalkeeper Aymen Sboui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarek Sellimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haykel Chatti in the 32nd minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Rachid Jemmali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chalfont FC and the Stevenage City players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Stevenage City's Issam Jomaa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aymen Sboui. In the 44th minute, Hatem Slimane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Issam Jomaa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Haggui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Patrick Haggui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The Stevenage City fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Stevenage City's Hatem Slimane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Stevenage City booed when Chalfont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Trabelsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofiène Ragued hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Ziad Marzouki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Stevenage City's goal looked a bit too open when Haykel Chatti came free, but Tarek Sellimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stevenage City getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sofiène Ragued hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Ziad Marzouki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chalfont FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stevenage City.
