Jemeleddine Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdeljelil Miaâdi having to interfere. When Gainsborough City's Lotfi Slimane in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dhaker Ghodhbane during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Dhaker Ghodhbane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lotfi Slimane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdeljelil Miaâdi having to interfere. Emir Haj Sboui did an outstanding performance 48 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Oussama Arfa in the goal. After the first half Fordingbridge AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abdeljelil Miaâdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jemeleddine Ladgham, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Fordingbridge AFC's Slim Sellimi got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Lotfi Slimane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Abdeljelil Miaâdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lotfi Slimane, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Abdeljelil Miaâdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jemeleddine Ladgham's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Jemeleddine Ladgham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelkarim Dhahri kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Lotfi Slimane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Abdeljelil Miaâdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Gainsborough City's Jemeleddine Ladgham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Fordingbridge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lotfi Slimane came free, but Abdeljelil Miaâdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
