Shuaibu Chérif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Salah having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shuaibu Chérif in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Riadh Salah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Shuaibu Chérif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hedi Jaballah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alderley Edge's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
