Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Bassem BenAmor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portreath AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bassem BenAmor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Zine Baccouche made a precise shot to the right of Moncef Ouertani. Portreath AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Huyton AFC's Wissem Essafi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wissem Essafi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moncef Ouertani came out and tried to block the shot, but Wissem Essafi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Wissem Essafi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Moncef Ouertani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Bassem BenAmor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faouzi Sioud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Huyton AFC booed when Portreath AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jemeleddine Meoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Bassem BenAmor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdeljelil Jaber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bassem BenAmor was the one to do the kick off. Wissem Essafi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Huyton AFC's zone, Bassem BenAmor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faouzi Sioud came out of the goal and Bassem BenAmor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 minutes, Imed Soliman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huyton AFC and the Portreath AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Huyton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imed Soliman to maneuver through the defense. Hamed Brahem kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Faouzi Sioud successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Moncef Ouertani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wissem Essafi in the 72nd minute of play. If Zine Baccouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faouzi Sioud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bassem BenAmor in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zine Baccouche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huyton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zine Baccouche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moncef Ouertani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Portreath AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
