The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hatem Ouakili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Slim having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdallah Chedli in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Slim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freshwater's Mohamed Slim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hatem Ouakili in the 10th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Abdallah Chedli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Freshwater's Mohamed Slim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Abdallah Chedli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Slim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mohamed Slim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdallah Chedli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Mongi Mnari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wissem Mzali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hatem Ouakili 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Slim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Abdallah Chedli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Slim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Sabri Saada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabri Saada got free with Wissem Mzali in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wissem Mzali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Rzouga in the 33rd minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Khaled Rzouga from a close distance when the talented Wissem Mzali managed to make a qualified save. Great Staughton's players were relieved. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Staughton's goalkeeper Wissem Mzali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdallah Chedli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Slim having to interfere. Sabri Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Wissem Mzali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabri Saada in the 52nd minute of play. Zoubeir Sassi charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoubeir Sassi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Freshwater getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zoubeir Sassi hit a great ball. Freshwater's Mohamed Slim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Freshwater from getting a goal against them. When Freshwater's Sabri Saada in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Great Staughton's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khaled Rzouga in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wissem Mzali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wissem Mzali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabri Saada's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabri Saada in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wissem Mzali saved Great Staughton from getting behind. Great Staughton's Hatem Ouakili got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khaled Rzouga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehdi Ali Bourguiba hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Khaled Rzouga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wissem Mzali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sabri Saada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Great Staughton got a freekick which was hit by Fethi Baya. 96 minutes into the match, Great Staughton's goal looked a bit too open when Khaled Rzouga came free, but Wissem Mzali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Great Staughton's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
