Tahar Boulaabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rawdon FC. Slim Ben Bourguiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tahar Ben Jelassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Mohamed Dhiab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tahar Boulaabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Dhahri, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tahar Boulaabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Dhahri in the 32nd minute of play. Tahar Boulaabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Dhahri went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ali Dhahri succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2.

The wind increased when Ali Dhahri made the kick off in the second half. Tahar Boulaabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Dhahri's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Ali Dhahri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Hawkcombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Ben Saada to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Slim Ben Bourguiba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahar Ben Jelassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahar Ben Karel in the 95th minute of play forced Rawdon FC's goalkeeper Tahar Ben Jelassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rawdon FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Abdelwahab Hadda hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Rawdon FC defense, Slim Ben Bourguiba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tahar Ben Jelassi. The Rawdon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tahar Ben Jelassi should have stopped the shot. The Rawdon FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rawdon FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
