With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Laabidi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adel Mouelhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Laabidi having to interfere. Amine Ben Younes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziad Mrabet in the 40th minute of the match. Ali Laabidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adel Mouelhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Mouelhi got free with Amine Ben Younes in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ziad Mrabet made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Adel Mouelhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adel Mouelhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Sami Thabet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amine Ben Younes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziad Mrabet in the 66th minute of the match. Ali Laabidi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sami Thabet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. After 78 played minutes Woodmancote FC got a freekick which was hit by José Akid. Amine Ben Younes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziad Mrabet, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Many of Cambridge's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cambridge may have spent more time on the ball, but Woodmancote FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
