When Slaheddine Maatouk came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sheerness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slaheddine Maatouk couldn't finish the play. Ali Bouali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaise Nafti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Sheerness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymen Amor to maneuver through the defense. Ali Bouali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blaise Nafti went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ahmed Korbis short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Mehdi Ben Marzouki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ali Bouali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaled Trabelsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Slaheddine Maatouk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mehdi Ben Marzouki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 31 played minutes Bristol Fishponds got a freekick which was hit by Chedi Beya . Khaled Trabelsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bristol Fishponds's Khaled Trabelsi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sheerness getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ahmed Korbi hit a great ball. Khaled Trabelsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaise Nafti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ali Bouali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slaheddine Maatouk made a kick off. David Herguel struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Mehdi Ben Marzouki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheerness. In the 54th minute, Slaheddine Maatouk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sheerness fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Khaled Trabelsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ali Bouali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Korbi charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Korbi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Ahmed Korbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Bouali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaise Nafti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehdi Ben Marzouki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slaheddine Maatouk, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Khaled Trabelsi scored 1-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Bouali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sheerness's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mohieddine Ayari was slow to take the kick. During this time Bristol Fishponds's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Bristol Fishponds's corner Mohieddine Ayari fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ali Bouali quite easily take care of the ball. Mehdi Ben Marzouki came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheerness's David Herguel. But to his dismay, David Herguel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Slaheddine Maatouk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Ben Marzouki having to interfere. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Slaheddine Maatouk sped through Bristol Fishponds's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehdi Ben Marzouki. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sheerness fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bristol Fishponds had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
