Ziad Chipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hedi Baya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziad Chipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youssef Ben Trabelsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youssef Ben Trabelsi in the 15th minute of play forced Potters Bar's goalkeeper Ziad Chipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziad Chipo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hedi Baya was the one to do the kick off. Habib Hleli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelaziz Koissy having to make a save. Abdelaziz Koissy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Hleli, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Habib Hleli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelaziz Koissy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chedi Ghodhbane in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hedi Baya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erith City's supporters rose to their feet, but Hedi Baya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziad Chipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Habib Hleli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Youssef Ben Trabelsi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Erith City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Youssef Ben Trabelsi couldn't finish the play. Férid Ben Boumnijel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelaziz Koissy having to interfere. If Férid Ben Boumnijel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hatem Jaouachi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erith City's protests and gave Hatem Jaouachi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Erith City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatem Jaouachi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Hleli in the 87th minute of play forced Erith City's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Koissy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
