Ferid Farhat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Chaouki Fitouri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bridlington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penzance City the free kick. In the 7th minute, Chaouki Fitouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoubair El Abidine Ben Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Imed Chikhaoui went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Patrick Khemili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Ben Saidi in the 22nd minute of play. After 24th play minutes Ferid Farhat shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Zoubair El Abidine Ben Ali and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Bridlington getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Imed Chikhaoui hit a great ball. Patrick Khemili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Ben Saidi in the 32nd minute of the match. Patrick Khemili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mongi Thabet, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Penzance City's Chokri Saidi got a free kick in the 46th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Penzance City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bridlington:s goal. The goalkeeper, Zoubair El Abidine Ben Ali, was totally fooled by Bridlington's Oussama Ben Dhia, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mongi Thabet was the one to do the kick off. Mehdi Ben Saidi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Mehdi Ben Saidi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bridlington's zone, Mongi Thabet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Khemili came out of the goal and Mongi Thabet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mongi Thabet in the 64th minute of play forced Bridlington's goalkeeper Patrick Khemili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Mongi Thabet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Bridlington's goalkeeper Patrick Khemili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Ben Saidi. Mehdi Ben Saidi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Patrick Khemili made a huge save. Radhi Kalaï kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Mehdi Ben Saidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Khemili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mongi Thabet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Selim Mrabet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Zoubair El Abidine Ben Ali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chokri Saidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
