Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Majed Kefacha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute of the match Bahi Basli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jemeleddine Karoui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Fethi Sellami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes in the game, Fethi Sellami fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jemeleddine Karoui having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fethi Sellami in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jemeleddine Karoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fethi Sellami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Fethi Sellami reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jemeleddine Karoui. The goal made the score 1-0. Jemeleddine Karoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fethi Sellami, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ben Haggui hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Muhammad Abdi in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Chaffley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fethi Sellami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fethi Sellami came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Chaffley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fethi Sellami couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Newark's Jemeleddine Karoui got control of the ball when Muhammad Abdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 80th match minute, Chaffley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamel Jelassi to maneuver through the defense. Jemeleddine Karoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhammad Abdi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Jemeleddine Karoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammad Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fethi Sellami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jemeleddine Karoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
