Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Castleford's Mohsen Ghodhbane started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdelhamid Salem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmad Baya in the 4th minute of the match. Bahi Salah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Muhammad Nefzi made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmad Baya in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelhamid Salem saved Castleford from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohsen Ghodhbane in the 11th minute of play forced Uldale's goalkeeper Muhammad Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahi Salah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uldale's Muhammad Nefzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohsen Ghodhbane in the 15th minute of play. Muhammad Nefzi was a little too slow when Mohsen Ghodhbane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Bahi Salah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Muhammad Nefzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Uldale's zone, Bahi Salah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhammad Nefzi came out of the goal and Bahi Salah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mohsen Ghodhbane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muhammad Nefzi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Mohsen Ghodhbane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Castleford's goal looked a bit too open when Kameleddine Ben Zid came free, but Abdelhamid Salem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Uldale's Muhammad Nefzi got control of the ball when Bahi Salah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kameleddine Ben Zid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelhamid Salem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmad Baya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Castleford's Bahi Salah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhammad Nefzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bahi Salah struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Muhammad Nefzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castleford. Castleford's Mohsen Ghodhbane got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Castleford's Mokhtar Ouhir got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kameleddine Ben Zid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Salem having to interfere. Abdelhamid Salem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmad Baya, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Mohsen Ghodhbane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Nefzi having to interfere. If Bahi Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohsen Ghodhbane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Muhammad Nefzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Mohsen Ghodhbane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahi Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Uldale getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fathi Jamaa hit a great ball. If Bahi Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Castleford were the better team. Castleford's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
