After 10 played minutes Washington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Beya . In the 11th minute, Paulo El Hadrioui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eastham's Mahmoud Akid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Eastham from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Hassene Miaâdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoubair Nouira in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamel Missaoui saved Washington AFC from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, Washington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Issam Hermassi to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Washington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hassene Miaâdi came free, but Jamel Missaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamel Missaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassene Miaâdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington AFC's Issam Hermassi suffered a sprained foot after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hatem Tlili hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Eastham's Mahmoud Akid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Eastham from getting a goal against them. If Hassene Miaâdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoubair Nouira took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jamel Missaoui . Jamel Missaoui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taher Zaghouani was the one to do the kick off. When Hassene Miaâdi came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Eastham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassene Miaâdi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Zoubair Nouira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastham's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoubair Nouira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamel Missaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoubair Nouira in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamel Missaoui saved Washington AFC from getting behind. Hassene Miaâdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Kaies Jelassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Washington AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eastham the free kick. A collision led to Washington AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kaies Jelassi hit a great ball. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Washington AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lofti Ali Bourguiba was slow to take the kick. During this time Eastham's players had a chance to rest. If Taher Zaghouani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taher Zaghouani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassene Miaâdi got free with Jamel Missaoui in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eastham eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
