Spectators: 6757 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Issam al-Husain in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dali Brahem saved Gainsborough from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Issam al-Husain in the 5th minute of play forced Gainsborough's goalkeeper Dali Brahem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Salah Belhaj Aleya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Achab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aziz Omrani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Abdelkarim Mahouachi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Verwood United's Bechir Khemili got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 23 played minutes Verwood United got a freekick which was hit by Ali Missaoui . Hédi Rzouga kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Verwood United's Chaouki Ben Trabelsi in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gainsborough's goalie prevented a goal. Dali Brahem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issam al-Husain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Gainsborough got a freekick which was hit by Karim Akid. Verwood United were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Gainsborough's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salah Belhaj Aleya took the corner. Dali Brahem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaouki Ben Trabelsi in the 46th minute of the match. Abdelkarim Mahouachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Achab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Achab made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Gainsborough got a freekick which was hit by Anis Rzouga. Gainsborough's Dali Brahem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Gainsborough from getting a goal against them. Abdelkarim Mahouachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Achab in the 59th minute of play. If Aziz Omrani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Verwood United defense, Aziz Omrani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdelkarim Mahouachi. The Verwood United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdelkarim Mahouachi should have stopped the shot. Aziz Omrani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Achab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkarim Mahouachi having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Aziz Omrani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gainsborough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Verwood United's zone, Aziz Omrani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelkarim Mahouachi came out of the goal and Aziz Omrani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Achab in the 86th minute of play forced Verwood United's goalkeeper Abdelkarim Mahouachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Gainsborough's Mohamed Achab nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdelkarim Mahouachi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 92 minutes into the game, Muhammad Eyadema was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gainsborough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verwood United the free kick. In the 91st minute, one of Gainsborough:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gainsborough. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Verwood United's Salah Belhaj Aleya got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dali Brahem. After 96 minutes, Ali Missaoui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verwood United and the Gainsborough players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Verwood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Missaoui to maneuver through the defense. Gainsborough's Dali Brahem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issam al-Husain in the 99th minute of play. Gainsborough were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Verwood United for a fine match.
