Acton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sahbi Mzali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zoubaier Trabelsi's late challenge caught a Acton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zoubaier Trabelsi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Bristol Totterdown AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoubaier Trabelsi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bristol Totterdown AFC booed when Acton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Saidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Boumnijel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaled Zaalani in the 15th minute of play. If Hassene Haj Kacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Boumnijel was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Khaled Zaalani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Khaled Zaalani really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassene Haj Kacem in the 26th minute of play forced Bristol Totterdown AFC's goalkeeper Issam Braiek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alaeddine Ben Aïssa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Issam Braiek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hassene Haj Kacem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bristol Totterdown AFC's Hatem Mabrouki got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Sami Beya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Issam Braiek skillfully saved the ball. Alaeddine Ben Aïssa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Issam Braiek made a huge save. Ben Boumnijel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sahbi Mzali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassene Haj Kacem in the 72nd minute of play forced Bristol Totterdown AFC's goalkeeper Issam Braiek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Majed Rehouma kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Alaeddine Ben Aïssa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The Bristol Totterdown AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
