Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hichem Beya in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wissem Jaber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 minutes, Heithem Belkhodja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fleetwood FC and the St Austell players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Fleetwood FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fathi Ben Salah's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wissem Jaber firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adel Mecherguis short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Wissem Jaber to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lofti Melki's late challenge caught a Fleetwood FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lofti Melki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Chems Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hichem Beya to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Hamed Bouzaiene could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Tarak Mrabet however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Fleetwood FC's zone, Hamed Bouzaiene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarak Mrabet came out of the goal and Hamed Bouzaiene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute of the match, Hamed Bouzaiene got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tarak Mrabet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute, Hichem Beya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Chems Amor fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St Austell's protests and gave Chems Amor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Chems Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the St Austell defense, Hichem Beya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wissem Jaber. The St Austell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wissem Jaber should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Hamed Bouzaiene ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tarak Mrabet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tarak Mrabet made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Hamed Bouzaiene sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 90 in the game by Hamed Bouzaiene from a close distance when the talented Tarak Mrabet managed to make a qualified save. Fleetwood FC's players were relieved. Fathi Ben Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
