Spectators: 6759 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponteland's goalkeeper Amine Achab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amir Ladgham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amine Achab came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Lytham's Salah Belhaj Youssef. But to his dismay, Salah Belhaj Youssef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Ladgham in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amine Achab saved Ponteland from getting behind. The supporters of Lytham booed when Ponteland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohieddine Salem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lytham's Amir Ladgham saw an opening behind the goalie Amine Achab in the 17thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Amine Achab with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. Amine Achab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salah Belhaj Youssef in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute of the match Hamed Belgacem shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amine Achab showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Mohieddine Salem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amine Achab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amir Ladgham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sami Mokthar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adel Salem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadok Zahani having to interfere. Sami Mokthar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sadok Zahani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Ponteland's Sami Mokthar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sadok Zahani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adel Salem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Lytham got a freekick which was hit by Hamdi Ayari. In the 60th minute, Sami Mokthar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sadok Zahani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel Salem in the 62nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Amir Ladgham sped through Ponteland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amine Achab. Sadok Zahani made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Sami Mokthar sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes Lytham got a freekick which was hit by Hamed Belgacem. Amir Ladgham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Amine Achab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadok Zahani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Mokthar in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Aymen Ben Dhia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Salah Belhaj Youssef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amine Achab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Amir Ladgham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amine Achab. Ponteland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amir Ladgham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
