The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adel Chérif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Ladgham in the 8th minute of the match. The Lytham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Salah Belhaj Youssef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Chérif having to interfere. Adel Chérif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Ladgham, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sadok Zahani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 44 minutes, Akram Belhouane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bromley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akram Belhouane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes Bromley got a freekick which was hit by Issam Robime. Amir Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adel Chérif having to interfere. After the first half Lytham were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zied Ghariani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Bromley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Ghannem to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lytham's Amir Ladgham slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adel Chérif. That made the score 0-4 after 94 minutes of play. 98 minutes into the match, Lytham's goal looked a bit too open when Zied Ghariani came free, but Sadok Zahani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 100 minutes into the match, Bromley's Akram Belhouane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sadok Zahani narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
