Spectators: 6757 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Khaled Chatti kicked off to start the match. Khaled Chatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Khaled Chatti got free in front of the goal in the 8th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Habib Jemmali was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Thatto Heath booed when Sandbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Cherni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Mohamed Cherni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thatto Heath's David Jaidi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chaker Gammoudi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Habib Jemmali having to make a save. 18 minutes into the game, Chaker Gammoudi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Habib Jemmali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Sandbach's Habib Jemmali got control of the ball when Chaker Gammoudi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mohamed Cherni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandbach's goalkeeper Habib Jemmali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chaker Gammoudi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Habib Jemmali when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chaker Gammoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chaker Gammoudi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Thatto Heath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chaker Gammoudi couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chokri Gharbi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chems Mechemeche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Chokri Gharbi rounded Thatto Heath's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. With a little luck, Thatto Heath's David Jaidi got control of the ball when Mohamed Cherni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Sandbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine David to maneuver through the defense. Chems Mechemeche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Jemmali having to interfere. With a little luck, Thatto Heath's David Jaidi got control of the ball when Mohamed Cherni tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thatto Heath's zone, Mohamed Cherni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Jaidi came out of the goal and Mohamed Cherni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaker Gammoudi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Habib Jemmali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thatto Heath. Noureddine David fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Jaidi having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
