Habib Nafti kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Aymen Rehouma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Majed Ben Sayah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riadh Bensedrine having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Club Africain's goal looked a bit too open when Majed Ben Sayah came free, but Riadh Bensedrine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riadh Bensedrine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Majed Ben Sayah in the 15th minute of play. Aymen Rehouma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Zoubeir Saber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riadh Bensedrine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Majed Ben Sayah's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Ahmed Zouari fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Africain's protests and gave Ahmed Zouari a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Africain's Ahmed Zouari got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Majed Ben Sayah in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Africain's goalkeeper Riadh Bensedrine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slaheddine Zouaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slaheddine Zouaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Club Africain's Sadok Meoki in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Immingham City's Zoubeir Saber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sadok Meoki in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Majed Ben Sayah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Riadh Bensedrine was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aymen Rehouma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zoubeir Saber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sadok Meoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Club Africain's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Immingham City had won, even though Club Africain had held more of the ball.
