An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahi El Hadj Kacem in the 5th minute of play forced Lingfield City's goalkeeper Hamadi Gharbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Hédi Laabidi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zine Haggui. Greenwich City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hédi Laabidi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Bahi El Hadj Kacem came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Greenwich City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahi El Hadj Kacem couldn't finish the play. Haythem Soliman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamadi Gharbi having to interfere. In the 18th minute Haythem Soliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamadi Gharbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Karim Kasraoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greenwich City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lingfield City the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Greenwich City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Kasraoui to maneuver through the defense. Hédi Laabidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Haythem Soliman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bahi El Hadj Kacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hamadi Gharbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zine Haggui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hédi Laabidi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hamadi Gharbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haythem Soliman in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when David Jaziri made the kick off in the second half. Haythem Soliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lingfield City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Noureddine Maatouk hit a great ball. Lingfield City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Haythem Soliman 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. In the 70th minute, Lingfield City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bahi El Hadj Kacem fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. David Jaziri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zine Haggui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed El Bez kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Zine Haggui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Jaziri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Haythem Soliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamadi Gharbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Lingfield City could leave the field as winners, despite Greenwich City having more of the ball for most of the match.
