In the last second Mohamed Mkademi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Riadh El Ouaer in the 5thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Oussama Ghannem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohamed Ladgham was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the match, Sefton United's goalkeeper Mohamed Mkademi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aziz Belgacem. If Karim Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Burnham on Crouch's goal looked a bit too open when Oussama Ghannem came free, but Mohamed Ladgham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Aziz Belgacem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnham on Crouch's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Belgacem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Mkademi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Riadh El Ouaer made a precise shot to the right of Mohamed Mkademi. Sefton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oussama Ghannem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sefton United's Oussama Ghannem got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Abdelwahab Kallel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnham on Crouch's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelwahab Kallel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Mkademi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sefton United's Karim Amri got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Sefton United's goal looked a bit too open when Riadh El Ouaer came free, but Mohamed Mkademi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oussama Ghannem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Karim Amri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mohamed Ladgham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aziz Belgacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Ladgham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oussama Ghannem in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Oussama Ghannem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ladgham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
