Mohamed Mzali's late challenge caught a North Fambridge AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Mzali helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Trimley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Mzali to maneuver through the defense. Hedi Chikhaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jawhar Karoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Clayton had several of the North Fambridge AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Yassine Bargawi as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mongi Karoui to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mongi Karoui in the 55th minute of play forced North Fambridge AFC's goalkeeper Yassine Bargawi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hedi Chikhaoui had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jawhar Karoui from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.
