Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Hichem Karoui started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ryde City's Hassene Trabelsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hichem Karoui in the 5th minute of play. Hassene Trabelsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hichem Karoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Ryde City got a freekick which was hit by Tahar Ayari. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ali Haggui took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hassen Ladgham to make any attempt to save it. Ali Haggui hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Hassene Trabelsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkarim Lahmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leamington Spa AFC's zone, Tahar Ayari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hassen Ladgham came out of the goal and Tahar Ayari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hassen Ladgham came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryde City's Mourad Bargawi. But to his dismay, Mourad Bargawi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hassen Ladgham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahar Ayari, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Tahar Ayari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelkarim Lahmar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassene Trabelsi having to interfere. The supporters of Ryde City booed when Leamington Spa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdallah Zaalani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mourad Bargawi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hassen Ladgham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryde City. When Mourad Bargawi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ryde City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mourad Bargawi couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Mourad Bargawi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hassen Ladgham was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Ryde City's Ali Haggui got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute Hichem Karoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassene Trabelsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Haggui hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hatem Sallemi during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hassen Ladgham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahar Ayari in the 95th minute of the match. Tahar Ayari struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Hassen Ladgham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryde City. After some careless play in the Leamington Spa AFC defense, Mourad Bargawi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hassen Ladgham. The Leamington Spa AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hassen Ladgham should have stopped the shot.
